If you must use Google Calendar and save your information on their servers make sure you:
- Don't post personal information like addresses, meeting points and times that might put you in danger. It might defeat the purpose of a calendar but you can code the information so only you can understand.
- Don't put other peoples' personal information on the Google Calendar. You should safeguard other people's information as you would like yours to be treated when it comes to privacy and security.
- Consider storing your calendar offline on your own computer only and sync it to your various devices when needed. When you sync it, do it without connecting to the Internet. This way you will bypass the cloud.
