Tips when using e-books

Opt for e-book readers that do not come with wireless Internet access but that, instead, allow you to download books to your computer and copy them to the e-book reader via USB. In particular, avoid e-book readers that use mobile phone networks to maintain a permanent Internet connection. Inspect your e-book reader's preferences and try to disable usage tracking where possible.
