Whether creating an event or accepting an invitation - you will expose sensitive data like date, location of the event, who has also been invited and who has accepted the invitation. Some questions you should ask yourself before:
- First of all, which information do you want to share with others – and what don’t you want to share?
- What information are you exposing by creating an event or accepting an invitation to an event? Does this activity compromise an intention of not giving away certain information about yourself or others?
- What does it say about you? Alternatively, what are people announcing to the world if they either create an event or join it?
- Do you put other people at risk by creating and/or accepting an invitation to an event?
