Default settings and preferences are those periphery menus that we hardly ever look at. However, by tweaking the settings in many of the services we are using, we can have better control over how and what data that is being collected, shared and stored. For example, we can change the settings in our browsers so they are not storing our history, and there are default setting specific to Firefox and Chrome. But be careful, just because we can't see them doesn't mean they are not stored by the companies or our devices.
